Contract Research Assistants and Senior Research Assistant (RA/SRA 2012) and various project staff and assistants (1-9 months duration depending on project)

Location: Various locations in the UK

The RSPB are recruiting for various Research & Senior Research Assistants and other equivalent officer and assistant posts for the 2012 season (up to 32 posts may be available - all subject to confirmation of funding). The roles will involve carrying out agreed programmes of bird survey, research work or species recovery work, alone or as part of a small survey team. Most posts require previous survey or field research experience and excellent bird identification skills.

RA - £13,000 to £14,000 pa, SRA - £15,500 to £16,500 pa

Hours: Full time, Most posts will require work to be carried out when weather permits, including at weekends. Some require work early/late in the day.
Contract: Up to 9 months.
