Head of Investigations - Scotland

We are seeking a Head of Investigations, based at RSPB Scottish Headquarters, Edinburgh to lead the work of the Investigations team in Scotland. You will be a highly motivated individual, with good conservation knowledge, particularly related to birds. You will have a relevant degree in zoology or ecology (or similar). You will be required to work with the Police, Crown Office and other enforcement agencies in Scotland, and you should have a good knowledge of Scottish and UK wildlife protection legislation. You will be a team player required to manage a small team of like-minded passionate individuals, as well as playing a full role in the Species and Land Management team. You may be required to work long hours, and be asked to work in demanding and sometimes confrontational situations, therefore you should be both physically fit and have good diplomatic skills. You should be computer literate and have good presentational skills.


£29,000 to £32,000 pa
