Conservation Scientist

Looking for a conservation scientist AWARDED the windfarms to perform research on the effects of the birds. The Post holder is required to complete the current research in the North of Scotland, to investigate the wind farm in the context of the development of the effect of Golden plovers. The Post holder is responsible for the management of field staff in the field of social security schemes to employed persons, to monitor the areas of avian studies: growth, ringing tones and radio tracking of individuals, and vegetation surveys. The winner is required to analyze the results of the project and, as well as the promotion of other related projects. The successful applicant shall preferably, experienced ornithologist Dr or a good knowledge of GIS, mapping and research design, statistical methods and experience in the field. The status of the authorization, the ringing tone, and radio tracking experience is an advantage.

£ 23,000-£ 25,500
