Position: Information Security Officer.
Location: Charlotte, NC.
Duration: 6 months of the contract.
Description:
The customer is seeking a short term (6 months - assignment) for an information security officer. The successful candidate will be responsible to provide and maintain a program of information security that safeguards information assets against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, damage or loss to the University. This is done by means of the following:
1. Educate the community campus on security related issues.
2. Provide proactive security analyses.
3 Design, development and implementation of robust security architecture.
4 To evaluate current policies and the development of new policies.
5 Evaluate the current state and providing alternative solutions to mitigate risks.
6. Assistance to strengthen the technical measures to protect the resources of campus.
7 Develop mechanisms to respond to incidents and events that endanger the assets of the Client.
Administrative responsibilities:
1. To establish and maintain a security organization.
2 Develop an integrated security program that supports the achievement of the strategic objectives of the Client and the priorities.
