Description and role:
· Plans, develops, tests and computer programs for documents, application of the knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems:
· Evaluates the user's request for the new program or changed, as for the system of financial or human resource management, clinical trial results, statistical study of the patterns of traffic, or analysis and develops specifications for the design of bridge, to determine the feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with the current system and the capabilities of the computer.
· Consult the user to identify current operating procedures and to clarify the objectives of the programme.
· Read manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet the needs of users.
· Plan formula outlining the steps necessary to the development of the program, using structured analysis and design.
· Submits to the user for the approval of the plans.
· Prepare organization charts and diagrams to illustrate the sequence of steps program must follow and describe the logical operations involved.
· Terminal computer drawings screen displays of the objectives of the end-users.
· Entering computer program codes.
