Working with a team of Sierra Leonean researchers the post holder will be responsible for designing and implementing survey work in and around the Gola Rainforest National Park. The research will focus on supporting the management of the park including measuring carbon stocks and re-growth surveys.
The post requires a highly-motivated individual with scientific training and overseas experience, special skills in survey design, fieldwork, statistical analysis, report writing and the flexibility to acquire new skills. The post is based in Kenema in Sierra Leone with significant amounts of time in demanding field conditions.

£23,000 to £25,000 pa

Hours: Full time
Contract: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
