To support the Visitor and Promotions Officer in the development and delivery of visitor engagement at Sandwell Valley, ensuring an excellent visitor experience for our audiences and achieving targets for visitor numbers, face-to-face engagement and membership recruitment. This includes the organisation of weekend face to face engagement by the people engagement volunteer team at Sandwell including use of the Lakeside Hide and occasional off-site events.
The person we're looking for will be innovative, organised, outgoing, with a very friendly disposition particularly when meeting members of the public. You will enjoy helping people get their hands dirty during activities and have the ability to talk to all ages. Although not directly a selling role, you will be promoting the RSPB at all times.
If you can talk about wildlife all day and not tire, then this role could be of interest.
