If you enjoy managing volunteers, have good practical conservation skills, and are a natural communicator, this post offers a great opportunity to work at this beautiful woodland reserve on the edge of the Peak District.
Work over the winter period includes habitat and estate management (across 170 hectares of woodland and meadows), people engagement both on and off-site (including planning for the reserve's 50th Birthday next year) and reserve monitoring and reporting.
You will lead a team of three residential trainee volunteers and day volunteer work parties.
This is a three month contract position or possibly a secondment opportunity.
£14,000 - £16,000 pa
