Conservation Policy Officer

Location: Edinburgh


Help make Scotland's energy revolution sustainable!


Scotland's climate change and renewable energy targets are amongst the most ambitious in the world. We must ensure these are met without damaging Scotland's fantastic wildlife. You will lead on developing our policy on energy and climate change and promoting this to decision makers and relevant stakeholders to further RSPB Scotland's conservation objectives. You will also support our involvement in planning casework and manage our engagement in a European project to promote the sustainable deployment of renewables. Experience of policy development and advocacy, preferably within energy and climate change, will be required. This is a 9 month contract or secondment.


£20,000 to £22,000 pa


Hours: Full time
Contract: 9 months
