Regional Fundraising Officer (Maternity Cover)

Location: West Yorkshire

Do you have the passion, drive and enthusiasm needed to raise funds to support RSPB's conservation mission?

Due to maternity leave, we have an opportunity for up to 12 months for someone who is well organised, highly numerate and with great written and oral communication skills to make a real contribution to the funding of our conservation work.

Your job will involve working with conservation and reserve teams across the North of England, but primarily in the North West and the Peak District, to identify suitable work and projects in order to raise funds from institutional funders (Lottery, Landfill, EU), charitable trusts and companies.

You will work closely with the Regional Fundraising Manager in to ensure current grant income is secured, and new awards are made to support our core work.

We have some fantastic projects in the region, from our brand new activities in the Peak District at Dove Stone and Eastern Moors, to visitor developments on the Dee to twite and hen harrier conservation in the uplands.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you'll already have an established track record in grant fundraising or equivalent experience in marketing or business.
