An experienced livestock manager is required to set up and manage a farming system that delivers the grazing requirements of a new holding, which will be managed in partnership with United Utilities for the benefits of biodiversity and drinking water quality. The Farm Manager will be required to support the communal system of farming on the commons and work to the highest standards of animal welfare, environmental protection, health and safety, and compliance with other legal requirements arising from the site's farming operation. This will be a "hands-on" role in a challenging physical environment.
