Assistant Warden - South Essex Marshes

Location: Essex


We require a dynamic and motivated person to join a reserves team managing 670 hectares of nature reserves on the north side of the Thames estuary in south Essex. You will work with the reserves team to deliver habitat management objectives, species survey and monitoring, supervising contractors and reserves maintenance tasks in accordance with the reserves management plan. We are looking for an individual with experience of working with and managing volunteers of all ages who is approachable and can help us provide an excellent visitor experience.
Also required are good species identification and survey skills, experience of working on a nature reserve, A level qualification or equivalent.


£14,000 to £16,000 pa


Hours: Full time
Contract: Established
