Project Officer - SEEVIEWS East Scotland Sea Eagles

Location: Perthshire


The Sea Eagle Officer will be responsible for delivering 'SEEVIEWS', the 6th year of the East Scotland Sea Eagle Project, funded this year by HLF and Leader. This will involve the translocation of up to twenty Norwegian sea eagles to Scotland in summer 2012, the monitoring of the whole translocated population, extensive public promotion of the project, and liaison with partners and stakeholders. An enthusiastic outgoing approach will be required along with excellent communication skills, a good practical and academic bird background and the capacity for efficient day to day management of a complex project. This will be a one year contract from 1st April 2012.


£17,000 to £19,000 pa
