Field Officers

Location: Perthshire/Angus


We are recruiting for a number of Field Officer positions to work on four important species projects. There are a range of posts available across Tayside in the 2012 breeding season, carrying out surveys of lowland waders, upland raptors, black grouse and red kite. Further details of the posts available can be found on the RSPB website.


The posts will require survey work experience and the commitment and perseverance to survey species in remote locations. The applicant should be a good communicator and have the ability to liaise effectively with landowners/managers and other project partners. Competent report writing and data management will also be required.


£14,000 to £15,000 pa


Hours: Full time, Working unsociable hours
Contract: Various positions up to 5 months.
