Field Teacher

Location: Teesside


We require a field teacher to join our team to help us deliver an exciting programme of curriculum-linked activities to school children and community groups at the Saltholme reserve. You will be guaranteed 5 six hour days per month (ideally flexibly) delivering or supporting the team in April - July, thereafter as and when required dependant on school bookings. You will have a good standard of education, abundant enthusiasm and the ability to inspire young people in the natural world and nature conservation. Previous teaching experience and knowledge of and an interest in wildlife would be an advantage.


£10.85 per hour


Hours: Part time, A minimum guaranteed 5 days per month April - July (15 weeks over period)(6 hour days) thereafter as and when required depending on school bookings.
Contract: 1st April 2012 to 31st August (40% part funded through 5-year HLF grant)
