We are currently seeking a Biodiversity Policy Officer to work in the Species Policy Unit at the Lodge. You will encourage the delivery of Government policies in England on woodland and lowland heathland conservation and co-ordinate our work on the conservation of woodland and heathland species. You will challenge and maximise the effectiveness of the new England Biodiversity Strategy in conserving these species and habitats.
You will be keen on developing experience and advocating policy to external audiences. You will be able to analyse information quickly and respond and communicate effectively. You will be highly motivated, with knowledge of conservation policy and/or legislation.
£22,000 to £26,000 pa
Hours: Full time
Contract: 6 months
